The Gulls would like to announce their new Head Coach....

We are delighted to announce the hiring of Paul Hunt as Head Coach of the GULLS for the 2021-22 season!!

After taking the 2020 -21 year off, Paul is excited to be reunited with the GULLS program where he spent five successful seasons as an Assistant Coach from 2010-2015. During his time with the GULLS he helped the program capture two NSU15 Provincial and one Atlantic Championship. After his tenure with the Gulls, Paul went on to the Rangers Organization as Head Coach and guided them to a NSU15 Provincial Championship and then to a silver medal at the 2017 Atlantic Championships.

After his time in the NSU15 hockey league, Paul went on to NSU18 where he served as the Head Coach of the South Shore Mustangs and more recently Head Coach of the Cole Harbour Wolfpack in 2019. During this time Paul and his staff were fortunate enough to work with U18 players, helping them achieve their goals of playing in the QMJHL, MHL and various junior hockey leagues across Canada and the US.

Paul has been involved with Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program, serving in an Assistant and Head Coach capacity at the U14/U15 levels. Paul acted as Assistant Coach of the 2018 U16 team that represented Nova Scotia at the QMJHL Gatorade Challenge in Quebec.

Paul looks forward to working with our fantastic group of players and helping them achieve both individual and team goals; as well as creating a development first atmosphere to help our young men grow as players and people.

Paul lives in Spryfield with his wife Holly and his daughter Hilary.

WELCOME BACK HUNTSY!!!!  #gullsfamilyPAUL HUNT
